Repairs and Re-installations
It seems to be almost inevitable that something will go wrong with your computer, even with our pre-emptive maintenance and servicing, parts will still fail, and if you are very unlucky you may get hit with a virus.
When problems strike one of our experienced engineers can come and look at your computer, in your own home. If the engineer can they will fix your computer while they are with you.
If our engineer can't fix your computer during their visit to your home, they can bring the computer into our workshop for repairs. Once the computer is repaired we will return it to you, and our engineer will make sure it is fully reconnected and working before they leave it.

Repairing computers can take a long time for even fairly simple tasks. This is because as much as two thirds of the time a computer takes to complete a task will be done automatically, by the computer, with minimum human intervention required. If this task is undertaken by an engineer at your premises you would have to pay for the whole time they are there, even if they are only sitting back watching scroll bars move.
By taking your computer back to our workshop it can be worked on simultaneously with other computers, so we only have to charge for the time the engineer is actually working on your computer. This can lead to big savings for you, and a better allocation of our engineers time for us. Everyone wins.

- If required, we will assist with reconfiguring your desktop to the way you like it
Sometimes the software on a computer gets in too much of a mess to be repaired, this isn't a problem, taking the old software off and replacing it with a clean copy is a straight forward process and one we are very experienced in doing at Churchill and Johnson.
We realise you have important data on your computer, be they files for work, your child's school coursework, or the family photo collection. As a valued customer we will provide you with as much assistance as you need in backing up all your files, so they can all be restored to your computer after it has been returned to health.
